I've stripped an E39 M5 for parts and am now left with a bare shell (with front and rear screens), which is about 1ft off the ground on concrete blocks. Would be very easy to be craned away.

It seems tough to find someone who will collect it which I'm surprised by. The only place I've found so far want to drag it up onto a truck which is going to damage the driveway. Anyone know a place that will use a hoist of some sort to take it away?

Might be worth putting the details on Anyvan.com and seeing if it gets any quotes. It's quick and easy and free until you accept a quote.

It's an empty shell? It'll weigh in at what - 600 kilos at a push, probably more like 500kg.

I'd suggest a trailer, a slab of beer, a job lot of pizzas and a boys night in. 6, or perhaps even 4 of you should be able to lift a bare shell far enough to load it onto a trailer.

Or get a grinder out and cut it into more manageable chunks.

Edit - didn't realise the E39 was such a heavy beast - even stripped it'll probably be a fair bit heavier than I predicted above!
