Now I see why the grammar Police are required on PH. This is very difficult to read!

Take some English lessons and edit your post.

I once saw an old man in a Impreza WRX STI, with another grey haired chip in tow, driving an EVO VIII.

For God's sake, learn to spell and punctuate. It's really not that hard.

There's loads of 'past-retirement' men up here, wearing flat caps for some reason, pootling about in Focus STs and the like.

There's one guy - looks at least a hundred - with a nigh-on perfect shiny turquoise MR2.

I find it more amusing that people can't "read" or "understand" the OP.

Yes he's missed out some grammar etc etc, but I've managed to read and comprehend it perfectly fine the first time.

Those of you who can't must be real morons.

Not quite a car nut but... There is a two tone Mg Zr in my town, its purple with a hint of green, black alloys and a big exhaust. It turns out its an old friend of my grandma's laugh she bought it from a dealership. I see it at the shops quite often.

Second that!! These donkeys must be sitting in their pants trawling the threads for people to persecute, get a life gents, life is too short!!

As for the thread, I did know of a rather old head teacher, boring suit etc. that ran a mint WR1, very nice and rather unexpected.

My grandfather is 88 and he drives an mg zs (I think) with a massive spoiler on the back. a few years ago he picked me up from the airport And as we came off a roundabout he turned to me and said 'let me show you what it can do!" and floored it.
