Looking for stock of 225/45x17 All Season Tyres
Discussion
The car is an 2010 A3 Sportback. It is a company vehicle with almost new Michelin Primacy HP tyres on the back.
I am thinking of getting All Season tyres on the front, as I am only allowed to replace the 2. Fingers crossed I can find some!
I know the general PH advice is not to use only 2 'full winters', so that's the reason for getting hunting for All Seasons. Failing finding some, I need to balance up getting 2 matching Primacy HP, or going with a summer winter combination

Anyone know where I can find some please?
Prefer:
Vredestein Quatrac 3
Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons
Hankook Optimo 4S
Dunlop SP Sport 01 AS
But other suggestions gladly taken

The Vreds have dried up and Goodyear never officially imported the 4Season to the UK, so you'll have to try someone like mytyres. I don't think the Dunlop is a UK pattern either.
As above, the Klebers are available and get good user reviews

We've just got some Kleber quadraxers and I've been impressed so far. Available next day from a Michelin stockist (they're owned by Michelin) so I assume cos no one's heard of them they're available.
I've been singing the praises of these on PH for a long time now - got a set in that exact size (the biggest they do) to the OHs C klass coupe last winter. Run them all year if you like. Really nice ride and loads of grip either in six inch deep snow or in the hot May we had. IMO best tyre idea for a British winter - you are not going to end up stuck in snow but they'll be better than full-fat winters in the majority of the weather we get (pissing down and s

Gerry there has a good reputation on here in the Scotland forum, he's a friend of mine. I was talking to him about Quatracs and the Dunlops in that size a few months back for one of my cars. Ended up with Eagle's again, but he should be able to get you pretty much anything.

Is Gerry the younger or older guy there?
I had a dent on an alloy inner rim they sorted a month back, not a mark on the wheel during refitting if you're precious about your wheels like I am.
Just bought a set of winter tyres in that size, rather than all-seasons - 4 Vredestein Wintracs, part worns, 5 to 6mm of tread, no punctures, cost me well under £250 fitted, courtesy of ebay and a local tyre fitter.
The Forester I had last year had proper winter tyres and impressed me enough to get some for the Legacy - that Forester was like a mountain goat in the snow. But without the bell round it's neck. And the horns.

For future reference, 4mm tread is where a winter tyre's ability to cope with snow drops off markedly and, in some European countries where winter tyres are a requirement, is the tread depth below which you need to get them changed. I think you're right about yerp and their tread depth requirements - my partworns are from the netherlands looking at the stickers that were on 'em - but as long as they last a few months ie two winters max I'll be happy. I (try to) change cars too often to be spending big bucks on brand new winters. <hopes wife doesn't read last bit>
