2 cars, 2 insurance policies, 1 claim

What happens if you have 2 cars with 2 separate motor insurance policies and 2 separate NCB and you claim on 1 policy.
Do you have to inform the insurer of the 2nd policy?
You need to inform the second insurer that you've made a claim on a different policy as it forms part of your driving history, it won't affect the No claims bonus as you're not claiming on that policy.Do you have to inform the insurer of the 2nd policy?

Bit difficult to do that online as I don't think there's a tick box for claim not relating to that vehicle's insurance.
Presumably they'll shaft me on the premium even though it's not directly related to that policy.
Oh good.
It doesn't matter about the car the question they are asking is about the driver history.Presumably they'll shaft me on the premium even though it's not directly related to that policy.
Oh good.
