.......I have fallen for a 2009 Peugeot 207. It gets worse - it is a 1.4. Automatic.
I needed something cheap for getting to the office. So I bought this on Monday from an ad in the newspaper.
The box is comically crap - you never know what its going to do next. The central locking doesn't work. The stereo just spits out cds for no reason.
But I ragged it and smiled all the way back from work tonight. Smashing little car.

It's because you don't care. It is a weight off your shoulders.
I bought a cheap Saab 9000 the other month. I do have a soft spot for them, but it's not mint. I can relax when I park it, I don't need to wash it, I don't worry about other cars hitting it / dinging it, rust, salt, etc.
It is the most relaxed I have ever felt about a car and I love it, I am not worrying about piling the miles on the nice cars.
Liberating is the word. I don't want to be without a shed again!

I have tried this but to no avail as I can't treat a shed like a shed I just can't :0(I bought a cheap Saab 9000 the other month. I do have a soft spot for them, but it's not mint. I know what you mean - I have gone around it tidying things up a bit and I was cross when I found a new ding the other day, but it is still a breath of fresh air in comparison to the way I was with the other cars!peterbredde said:

What kind of salary are you on to call a 2009 207 a shed? Just cos the cd player doesn't work and its you surely expected the slush box to be s

t on Middle Eastern roads for the 3 years it has spent roasting in the Dubai sun before I got it. Small cars here cost nothing new and even less used. This place isn't quaint old England. Trust me, its a f

My cars 3years old, similar size, got a few dings, got a rip in the seat, had a new steering rack after 30,00miles, been soaking in UK rain, been hammered everyday since i took delivery and didnt get run in.. Still dont think its a shed. Rose tinted glasses off living in the Dubai has obviously made you a snob
