With winter now truly upon us, what've you seen this week?
Discussion
It seems to be that every year around this time, the standard of driving drops dramatically.
Usually because Dorris's weekly bingo session now means she has to potter into town in the dark.
This week, and last week, i seem to have come across a higher than usual standard of retardedness.
Like the car in front in a 50mph zone who would accelerate reasonably hard, then brake hard as soon as something came towards, with an occasional right or left indicator (as if in a mad flurry for dipped beam). This went on for a mile or two. At times they were doing much less than 50mph, at other times they were doing much more than 50, odd.
There also seems to be more of the "40 everywhere" crew.
Sidelight w**kers
Foglight w**kers
Pull out and accelerate as slow as possible w**kers
W**kers!
What has bugged and annoyed you?
(Im quite sure this is my first rant, how did i do?)

Driving to work this morning, bloke took my right of way at a smallish roundabout. Bearing in mind it was wet and possibly icy, I only just managed to stop in time. Wheels skidded a bit so I've lost approx .5 pence of rubber. Grr.
All would be forgiven if he waved an apology, but instead he drove on slowly, and then took my faveroute parking spot, right in front of my workplace, probably miles from where he was going.
Still, stiff upper lip and stuff.

Not annoying but rather alarming - at about 6.45 this morning eastbound on the M62 going over Scammonden dam. The "Strong winds - Slow down" matrices are flashing (but they do that most days)
but I've not noticed it being anything too bad, trucks are doing fine.
Going over the dam and the big Sprinter/Iveco/Hi-Cube type van in front of me catches a gust and nearly goes over - back wheel was off the ground, swerves across all three lanes trying to catch it. As I said - quite alarming to watch. He pottered along in lane 1 after that.

People who have badly adjusted headlights
People who have 1 working headlight
People who have fog lights on permanantly.
People like the muppet in the MPV this morning who decided to turn right from the left hand lane on the roundabout.
People who do 45 or 50 mph in 60+ zones.
People who flash me when driving becuase they think I have main beems on becuase I have HID lights and keep my headlights clean.

Lots out there really with only sidelights working or bimbling about with no lights at all for them to pass you and you see the rear lights are working!!! What kind of tard doesn't realise the front lights don't work.
Anyway as for this lot that can't drive in the dark fook me what a lot they are.Braking all the time, surging with the go pedal unable to keep a constant speed, wobbling about and being a general nuisance.Folk at twilight charging about to try and get home before the dark envelopes them and kills them instantly.
Don't call the clock changes at this time of year silly season for nothing you know.
