I am in the process of selling a car and have a customer in Northern France who is quite interested.

Apart from the usual "scam" theories I will wait until the money clears in my bank etc etc

but was wondering if anyone had experience of having a car transported to france from london (wembley area)??

Drive it and get the train back? would probably be cheaper then paying a delivery company.

This for the following reasons:

1) You get to look the buyer in the eye and see his address.
2) It makes a great farewell for your old car
3) Cheap fags & booze

I don't really want to chance it as I am selling a C reg Porsche 944, not saying its a bad car but wouldn't want to be broken down in some village in France!

Buyer is paying so I am more than happy to arrange transport
