...is going to be a nightmare but needs doing!

afternoon and evening so from experience The Rose car park or Cattle Market are the best bets, but I will be driving around for ages and will cost £10 if I do find a space.

Streetview suggests restrictions on the residential roads along the river off Portsmouth Rd may be viable (Catherine Rd and south) - 20 min walk, but if it saves me a tenner...! Will most lazy shoppers avoid these? Worth a punt?

Where's Broom St?

Planning on going in from Surbiton/Tolworth direction.

Is it realistic to expect a space on one of the roads from Catherine Rd to The Mall? They look OK on streetview, restrictions are Mon-Fri and they are 1 mile+ from Kingston...

Its traffic hell here at the moment! If coming in via surbiton park on one of the river roads where it's free and walk in (20 mins) or park and walk up to waitrose get a bus into Kingston loads of buses.

Last nite took me 2 hrs to drive surbiton to teddington and back (8 miles) due to Xmas shopping traffic blocking Kingston Routes

Are those roads that I mentioned the river roads? The ones that go off Portsmouth Rd perpendicular to the river?

If I can't get a space there I will park in Berrylands somewhere and get a bus I think.

Try the car park at the back of Kingston Uni, Penrhyn Rd campus, by the sports centre. There are usually spaces available, and it's free.

Yup, use the uni penrhyn road or fassett road car park. I work there and their parking enforcement is Monday to Friday 08.30 to 16.30 only. No problem parking at w/ends.

I do something similar from my parents house! K3 bus from door to shopping centre. And they provide me with a free lunch as well. Awesome.

It's definitely quiet round these parts. Been in all the major electricals .. people appear to be just buying stuff they, erm, need .. what's the world coming to? The shoe sales are pretty good this year, if that's your bag.
