I've got some AutoSocks but never needed to use them. I read lots of reviews and watched videos etc and everyone raved about them.

Costco are selling the Michelin Easy Grip composite chains which look quite neat: http://www.easy-grip.eu - I think the size range is pretty limited though.

I agree on the comments above though - it's over 1800 sold now and I'd be beyond gobsmacked if they can support that level of demand.
