Lack of respect

Just came back to my car to be presented with a 4" scrape on the rear wheel arch and a run of blue paint. It's nothing special, a 2005 Golf, but I have had it for five years and made the effort to get little knocks and things sorted out so it didn't become a banger. I understand that it was icy this morning and accidents happen but they could at least leave a note. It's not a huge accident but you'd definitely have noticed it happen. If I had done it I would have been cross with myself but would have left a note to say sorry and give my number
