Hi all

Every time I see a "stuck bolt/ nut" thread, I read somebody rubbishing the use of WD40, since it;s a lubricant and NOT a penetrating fluid. This is always following by a "buy this" post, but I can't remember the name of said product!!

Anyway, I have a stuck bolt. hehe

HELP smile

plus gas.

I prefer the 'spray' version rather than the traditional version (having used both) as sometimes you can't get the tin of the traditional version up high enough to tip onto the bolt. I get mine from ebay these days easy as it's delivered to your door. I think the bigger spray version is 400ml. cheapest is £5.73

I don't know if you can buy it here, but US forums are always going on about PB Blaster being the best stuff.

Plus Gas followed by butane. If they had that earlier, Arthur wouldn't have been King.

It's PlusGas but you have to apply it and leave it to do it's thing. That time will vary dependant upon the state of that which you wish to dismantle.
