Oxford St/Regent St Christmas Lights...
Discussion
Hi, can anyone tell me if it's possible to (legally!) drive down either Oxford St and/or Regent St on a Sunday in a private car? Mrs V8 Disco is currently recovering from an operation so cannot walk far, but she would love to see the lights - and I have to drive into London this afternoon around 5pm - so if it's possible, I'd like to drive through so she can see them.
Thanks in advance......

I read somewhere that this was the case last weekend - is it definitely also this one too?
It amazes me that there's nowhere official online where I can find this stuff - have had a good look to no avail.
some idiot suggest we took kids to see lights last Sunday afternoon after rugbyIt amazes me that there's nowhere official online where I can find this stuff - have had a good look to no avail.
Oh yes great we managed to get up to Marble Arch Ok then found that roads are closed to traffic, nealy 3 hours to fight my way back to normal roads
Happy was not in the car
In the end we gave up with the idea of doing main Oxford St/RegentSt lights - just went past Harrods/Ritz/ turned right then St Pauls/Trafalgar Sq/Parliament Sq then along the embankment back to Earls Court. As predicted, traffic was grim.
The family saw some fancy Christmas lights (The trees by Natrual history museum, Harrods as always, a street by Harvey Nicks and the Christmas trees at Fullers Brewery) and I took 500 miles off the clutch in the Accord....
