Pug 306 - interior - ipod connection

I'm trying to thread the ipod connection from the back of the car stereo through the inside of the trim into the glove box, I know there's a communication there, but it's driving me beyond The Mental...


Can anyone give me a tip/trick/pointer on how to get the bendy stupid cable to wriggle along the trim/centre consol to pop out in the right place please?

Or if there is anywhere easier place for the ipod connection to leave the centre consol?



I hope this makes one iota of sense, it's been a long day :s

Oh it's a 1993 Pug 306

Tape it to a wire coat hanger/welding rod and poke it through.
