No, you just notice it more because you do more driving when it's dark.

My girlfriend has had one out for a week! Lazy moo.

I'm not at work tomorrow so she can take her sisters car and I'll change it.

I'd rather they put their foglights on, than not at all.

No you are right - and more people don't give a squit either - stopped behind someone the other day at a set of lights where there is a long phasing so got out and let the driver know he was down to one tail and one brake light. "yeah mate I know been like that a couple of weeks"

FFS fix it then!!

On being stopped by the boys in blue he will probably maintain he'd checked it that morning and it was fine

There are more, due to the fact they are so hard to change in a lot of modern cars

LMAO rofl aint that the truth, you have to love fog lights. There is a time and a place for fog lights and making up for a busted headlight is not one of them. Also neither is rear fogs when its raining but that's for another rant.

I really hate it at this time of year, only yesterday I went to pull out of the end of my road, a right turn on to a 2 lane road with a 30mph limit. There is some twunt parked around 50 metres up the road in the direction I am about to turn, on the wrong side of the road with his headlights on main beam dazzling me, as I pull out I nearly took out the Ninja cyclist who was all but invisible.
I pulled up to have a word with Mr/Mrs inconsiderate but the car is empty with the engine running, Oh st someone might steal it I thought, so I turned the ignition off, removed the keys & placed them in an adjacent garden for safe keeping, I'm not in the best of moods at 6.00am maybe I should stop putting Red Bull on my cornflakes!

Really - you'd rather not know - hey ho that's the way society is going I guess

Still you probably check all your lights before every journey like I do

I go one step further, I carry spare bulbs (its law in most EU countries so why not here?) & as long as it's possible with the tools I have at home I will change a bulb before commencing my journey.

Hope you have got HID's wink

And yes I do carry bulbs in cars where I know I can replace them easily at the roadside but that's getting more difficult with more modern cars.

Last Polo GTi I had was a front bumper off to change a side light.....

Even weirder is when you get a car coming at you with one headlight and one foglight working, on opposite sides of the car. It looks like it's barreling along at 45 degrees hippy

Is it just me or is there a thread about 'only one headlight' every week somewhere on PH?

Doesn't help that changing a light bulb on a lot of cars is a dealer job, there are some cars that even Halfords won't replace the bulb on, so if the bulb goes then you have to wait and book into a garage.
