This is obviously the fault of the traction control and the automatic gearbox. There is definitely nothing you could've done to avoid the spin.

If its tracking fine then I dont think you should have any worries.

Find a flat road, hit the brakes hard and see if it pulls you into a ditch. If it doesn't, you should be fine smile

I would have thought something in the suspension would have to bend in order to shift the bolts like that.

Re: potential damage- seems to me that you got away with it, and your plan to get the tracking checked makes a lot of sense. The inner wheel rim may be buckled so watch out for tyres going down.
I can't see the incident you've described moving the strut mounts. My own wheel-bashing experience tells me that your perceived 'slight drift to the right' is probably in your head.
With regards to the spin itself- if the throttle was barely open and the speed was low, you probably would've had a fairly good chance of saving it if you were quick on the opposite lock. Lifting off the throttle is often the wrong thing to do assuming you had space and no-one was about- the deceleration transfers the weight of the car to the front axle, further robbing the rear axle of grip.
