Insurance, named driver, motability

Hi we have a motability car and have done for years due to my health. 4 years ago we had to go to one car due to jobs etc. I have now bought my wife a car and only to find out her NCB has expired. So the insurance has gone up dramatically.

My wife has been a Named drive on the motability car for over 10 years without a claim.

Does anyone know of a company that will discount based on the fact she has been on another policy?

Lots say they do but infact are triple my cheapest qoute so far!! Directline, Flux etc!

Any advice much appreciated.

You're better off ringing each insurer explaing the situation and see if they can be flexible, the rules on ncb aren't totally set in stone.
