Sorry....What family car, needs to seat 3 kids?

Friends of mine are expecting their third shortly, they need a car to seat 3 kids (and car seats) plus 2 adults.

Requirements

- 8k max budget
- 7 seated would be a bonus
- reliability and running costs are important

I would welcome suggestions and experiences
