Sold my previous bag-o-sand shed (Honda Accord Type R) as the cost of 99RON and 23mpg was getting a little too much to bear.

We have a 2000 BMW 520i Auto Touring coming in as a trade in next week, 90000 miles in blue for about £750.

Anyone got experience of these? Any rust areas to look out for? Are the auto boxes strong?

Yep, out of the frying pan into the fire mpg-wise. But at least the E39 Touring is a v nice place to be.

Oh, sorry. I never knew the E39 520 auto had a 220bhp 2.0 and changed gear at over 8000rpm
