hi people you people do a great service helping other people out hope you can help me 2

my 325 i v reg just throne up a couple of problems for me first my gear lever has gone as sloppy as a turd in a p*** POT
second my heater throws out hot air even though set on 16 AND i have no heat to windscreen please help guys o yes and carry on the good work saving folks good money

Your heating issue is most likely a heater control valve... Search on the bimmer forums but on those I think they're in the engine bay up against the bulkhead.

Gear lever I wouldn't speculate on without removing the gaitor and having a good look around.
