Hugely complex engine, blurry camera photos, just £1500.
What can go wrong? If insurance is your primary area of concern I dont think you've done much homework on this sort of car. Insurance is nothing when it comes to running something like this.

I've had one for over a year now, its a great car and so far for us and looking at its history been totally reliable. Shifts as well, but I do suspect its been chipped, apparently its only a £350 job to go from 240bhp/240lbs to 300/300 so I suspect plenty of owners do, feels like its got a lot more than 240bhp, stock they are suppose to be just sub 7 sec to 60 and 153mph top end so no slouch for a big heavy car any way. Did 2000miles in a week round France in it at the beginning of the year with total confidence and plan on about 3000miles in 2 weeks round Germany this spring. Ours is over 120,000miles now on original turbos / gearbox etc, no advisories on MOT, last service was £300 from an Audi specialist, he said nothing looked in need of attention.

We have a 2.7T avant as my daily hack, very competent car, very good cruiser, very comfortable, very good in snow/bad weather, builds up pace far quicker than any 2tonne estate deserves to (that doesn't have RS or AMG etc in the name somewhere)
However, its fairly complex, its weight means stuff ie suspension, bushes etc, will and do wear ot, so keeping it maintained and on the road in good condition costs money,
34K mileage in my 2.7T over 18 months has cost me c 50% more than 20K mileage over 4 years in my TVR chimaera in preventative/remedial maintenance and servicing (inc cam belts in both, and a camshaft replacement in the TVR)
MPG is between 24-29. It really likes (runs well) on Shell VPower - though it will run ok on 95 RON
So in summary very competent car, but costs to run
