otherwise known as the thril of the chase smile

i have wondered about this before, back before i bought the last one i had a massive search going on, we travelled as far north as edinburgh, as far south as brighton, with points like newcastle, bath, birmingham, wales & way too many times to manchester in between.

am i one the car version of that bloke you know who constantly chats up women?!

Am just the same. It's more fun to read up on potential purchases, trawl Autotrader for hours and go a check some cars out than it is to finally part with your cash and drive a car home sometimes.

I also hate the new car excitement that blinds you to faults you only notice later on.

I am absolutely awful for this, both with cars and watches.

Spent a fair amount of money on both, within the past year, yet I browse the Pistonheads classifieds and Chrono24 (the watch equivalent) on a far too regular basis.

With the car (first one I have purchased myself, been driving my parents cars until now) I've found that I am fine when I have something that needs doing to it maintenance wise, but now that everything is running as it should, when I should be out driving it, I am looking at what else I could buy what could be 'next'.

Car is a mk1 Focus RS (would like to change to an E46 M3 or a Z4M Roadster), watch is a Sea Dweller (don't want rid of it, just to buy another one, maybe a GMT Master). rolleyes
