A work of art and strangely relaxing to watch but see if you can spot the minor error for pedant points!

I give up (and am aching to know), what is the minor error?

a) That's really really gorgeous.

b) It's actually a very well-made video - well chosen music, anyone know what they're from? Sounded pretty big-budget cinema in places.

Wrong side of what? It looks to me like they're on the same side as the exhaust ports, where you want them to be. It would be daft to have the pushrods running through them.

It did look like the cam shafts rotate at the same rpm as the crank instead of half speed, but as the engine works I figured that I'm either wrong or it's not a problem.

Jag v12 has the exhausts on the inside of the 'v', as this engine does.

You're right, it's not strictly a four stroke engine as the cams rotate at the same speed as the crank when you should have two revolutions of the crank for one of the cams. They have the crank and cam sprockets the same size. Still, it works as it is an air compressor in reverse effectively nerd

Thats REALLY nice
i was wondering near the end why there was no lubrication, the fact that it only runs on air explains that.
if i was putting that much effort in, i would probably have gone all the way and made it actually run on fuel, cant be THAT much more work really.
alter the cam to crank ratio, add oil, maybe piston rings, and an ignition system. could run on gas.

er, all the pics I've looked at don't have the exhausts on the inside, they are on the outside.
some old F1 cars had exhausts on the inside for cooling and other reasons but the Jag v12 doesn't.
