I Know I Know, Sorry
Discussion
As title im sorry as this more then likely comes up alot anyway if it has can someone send me the link but......
Me and a few friends are going to the Nur this year and one of the lads going has just picked his car up that he will also be taking "Civic Type R" and this has got me thinking what do i buy to take ?
The list of cars going,
Civic Type R Ep3 - Breathing Mod's *215Bhp*
106 GTi - Throttle Bobbies *190bhp*
Golf Mk2 - 1.8 T *340bhp*
E36 328 - with mods dont know what? *...bhp*
The BHP is around about at my guess
Right i want a car that i can rival them in and so far what i have worked out is a Clio Ph1 172 ?
Can anyone think about anything better ?
Can be to pricey due to Already owning to cars Vw Polo use of shows and just got my self my new daily a Merc CLC, So cant cost to much.

Looked in to the Clio sports and the PH1 172 are slightly quicker then the 182 *Dont know how that works to but its true found out on the Clio forum*
Unless you are really handy and know the 'Ring like the back of your hand you wont tell the difference so I wouldnt get hung up on performance statistics.Rent a proper race car when you get there instead.

We are all planning to do track days as well so need a "Road Legal Track Car" but not silly money fastRent a proper race car when you get there instead.
So your mates have decent cars and plan to go to the ring but you dont wanna risk your CLS so plan to buy something thats not silly money fast so you can join your mates on track days? I'd be asking them tbh.
- edit** CLC sorry op didnt mean any disrespect.

How about just having fun at your own pace and forget trying to race your mates? If you and your mates have never been, you'll only get embarrassed by locals in snotters or smash whatever warm hatch you just bought.I definitely agree that you shouldn't take your show Polo.
Forget lap-times or whether you're beating your mates or not. Just enjoy it in whatever snotter you brought along.

Fair play - dont wanna stuff the show polo into the armco.
