Pistonheads I have a confession. Please don't judge me

I have fallen in love with driving vans!!
The past two weeks I have been driving around (for work) in a LWB Ford Transit 2.5TDI (might have been bigger, I’m not 100% sure) and a SWB Transit. I honestly expected to hate driving around in them. But I haven't had this much fun with my clothes on for a while, especially in the RWD LWB transit. It is an absolute hoot to drive, with a fantastic engine and a low ratio box, has made me smile a few times especially in the wet.
After an hour of transporting some stuff over to our new office, I had bonded with my LWB transit, so much so, that I kept the key firmly in my pocket and kept making excuses to drive it.
My boss thinks I have gone mad; I probably have, so I have a question. Has anyone else come down with the case of, van-itus?

Drove a new Vauxhall van when I was last moving house and it was pretty fun because it was such a different experience to my car. I loved the mahoosive windscreen which gave a lovely panoramic view, and the fact that there were no rear windows (meant I couldn't see even if there was a tailgating moron on my bumper). Quite theraputic to drive in someways... All other van drivers and truck drivers seemed to let me out more too.
Oh, and the performance and handling changes between fully laden and unladen were hilarious

I drive a van for a living (Vivaro 100bhp thing) and I like the driving position, visibility and ease of parking, I prefer driving it to the missus's Focus to be honest.
'My' van is a little '07 (81k miles on the clock) 110bhp 1.7 Combo. When driving with a colleague they do say "This isn't a sport car" quite a lot, well, on the A and B roads. Most of my time is on the M1 and M25, it seems...
Great vehicle for the A421 through MK, especially in the wet.
I secretly would like it to fail dramatically and from something which most certainly could not be construed as 'my fault', as I would quite like a VW T5, as the Combo is a bit too like a Corsa inside sometimes...

I found when driving a biggish Renault (driving height way above an RR) and a few MB minibuses that I instantly became 'white van man'.
The urge to comment on people's ludicrous clothes, poor driving and the astonishing beauty of the lay-dees overcame me within minutes of driving off...
I probably wouldn't own one for those reasons but they are fun to drive for a while

Most fun vehicle i've ever driven:

Nothing to be ashamed of. 2.2 diesel, nice and big, RWD and makes a beautiful sound under power.
Indeed, I had a 313CDI when they came out in 2001 or so, So easy to drift with no weight in the back. Also had a drive in an ex ambulance service LDV. Rover V8 jobbie. Rotten as a rotten thing which is why it got VOR'd Surprisingly quick and the carb fed 3.5 sounded lovely at full chat.

Vans, love 'em although my work driving is mostly now in a Daf CF.

We got a 312 on an R plate about 1995. Was a fantastic van. Turn the traction control off when it was empty and it was great fun.

People just didn't expect a van that size to be that quick!
