Saw an advert for one of these in Canada, am I slowly going mad or are they one of the best looking Saloons on the market at the moment?

looks a bit like someone took tracing paper to a Jag, got confused halfway through and finished tracing a Citroen

Choosing the right bits of each, this approach may be a winner

Huh. I'm not sure how the bods at Kia have done it over the past few years but their range is almost desirable nowadays. Good work guys, hope it looks as good in the metal and finds a market amongst the sea of Mondeos and whatever Vauxhall call the Vectra these days.

Looks awesome. I hope it really punishes Ford for they're disgustingly lazy designs of late.

It probably will, I work at a Ford & Kia dealership so I'll let you know! Although the new Mondeo due later in the year is a great looking car!

These cars are everywhere in Dubai. It's a real looker. As is the new Kia Cedanza:

I'd buy a Kia in an instant these days. The quality is great too.

I saw the US-spec cars in the summer (they've been out there for about a year).

I think the shape is great but the detailing needs work, and it seems like the wheels are important to the overall look. Base model is I think on 16s and they look lost.

Apparently the suspension setup is very soft and the CO2 figures aren't as good as for the related Hyundai i40, so it might not do too well.

On the other hand, an ex-rental one, if I can find one, would be on my shortlist next year.

Kia have made good cars for a while - very reliable (tow car of the year a few times as I understand it, which does mean something) cheap, but also extremely dull.

Now they're getting a bit flashy, I just hope they don't try and push massively upmarket.

They've hired Audi's design boss, Peter Schreyer, a few years ago.
