MK5 Golf TDi Service Indicator.

Hello all,

I collected a 2007 Golf Tdi yesterday from the garage I have bought it from.
It was serviced by them last week including an oil change. It has been telling me today, on engine start, that it needs a service. Is there a service indicator reset tool required or is this a deeper problem do you think?

Get straight back to them.. either they've not serviced it, or not reset the service indicator light. Might be worth getting an independent garage to check it actually HAS been serviced recently.. check condition of the air filter, etc!

I've just Googled how to reset it so no problem there. Just need to be sure it was actually serviced.

Take it right back. Don't let them fob you off saying they don't have the correct tools to reset the light.
