Anyone get scammed by this company ?

Mainly young drivers got scammed

Hundreds of young drivers could be on the road illegally after being sold invalid motor insurance by an online company, Leicestershire County Council's Trading Standards have said.

Aston Midshires Insurance, based in Enderby, has been selling car insurance aimed at young drivers.

Police, Trading Standards and the Financial Services Authority are investigating the company.

The firm has now removed its website and stopped answering its phones.

Thats wierd, i called them for a quote on a Fiesta ST and a Honda CTR.

The lad i was speaking to there was quite informal, which is fair enough. But he wasn't exactly polite. When they gave me a quote for around 3500 for the ST i said that is too expensive.
The guys answer was "well get anuva car bruv not an ST"!

Mentioned on Radio 4 today. I think they managed to register the outfit onto the MID database http://www.askmid.com/ in order to dupe customers into thinking that they were legit
