If you only had space for one toy: supercar vs sports car

Assuming that you only had garage space for one fun car, would you get something really good but useable all year round and not so precious that you couldn't also go shopping in it and leave it in public car parks (think 911 as en example) or would you go for a supercar (Countach, F40, etc) that would most likely only be used occasionally in the summer when it is dry ie would you trade lots of very good experiences for a much smaller number of incredible ones?

I ran my Elise as my only car for 5 years, doubt I'd have had more fun in a Countache...

The SportsCar route, without a doubt. Although I'm curious to know where you draw the line between the two.

If you have F40 money to burn, why would you not either move house or build another garage if this was an issue?

Or put the supercar in the garage and park the sports car in the drive or on the street ?

Or I'd just leave the sports car out on the drive....
