What can you get for bag and a half of sand, £1500 now??

Had to buy the wife a replacement car and had a lot of fun looking with £2k budget as maximum - also plus a car I can use and like to drive as well with a smile.
Found a Mk4 VR6 Motion, took a punt as it started a drove well, had full VAG service history and just wanted a little tidying up - plenty of time to fiddle with it now.
Result, everything works, £177 service including oils/filters haldex etc plus £25 for obd check on everything.
Needs two tyres on rear soon and new drivers floor mat.
A real little flyer and already refusing bids on it.
Kept within the £2k budget, no loans etc and no depreciation either.

I just bought a Saab 95 2.3 turbo estate for 1100- just needed a headlight bulb & the service I'd always give a newly bought car anyway. Can't believe the amount of car for the price.
