Non Drivers Cars You Enjoyed Driving.......
Discussion
Think about the cars youve owned or driven from time to time that were by no means a "drivers car", but you still enjoyed driving anyway.
I once got a Nissan Micra Dci NTEC or something as a courtesy car. The thing was shocking. Worst seating position ive ever encountered, slow doesnt describe it. But it was strangely fun to drive and actually handeled quite well, and under full throttle you could hear the turbo going and the exhaust making that "whoosh" sound. I admit this was a really fun car to drive.
Second was an e46 320d SE estate. 230k on the clocks, rag heap. I covered many miles in this thing and it was a hoot. The childish side of me really enjoyed putting its arse end out in the wet - and when it snowed, well you know how it is. It had a nice steering rack too, and was pleasant to drive.
So whats yours?

A MK2 Fiesta 950 bought for £50. I drove it everywhere like it was its last ride, the clutch went poing everytime you pressed it and it made a Ferrari like 'snick' noise when I changed gear. Loved driving it, it clung to an MOT by the skin of its teeth and I scrapped it when it ran out.

Epic fun. Tyre squeel at every turn in town, will attempt to bunny hop if you stand on the brakes and is surprisingly easy to make it cock a wheel. An absolute joyous riot to grab by the scruff of the neck and throw around town or down a little B-road...

My old 205 1.1
Loved it stuck to the road like glue when I put some 15inch 406 steels on.
Took abuse daily with the non exsistant rev limiter.
When the valves sounded like they were going to say hello through the bonnet it was time to change gear.
Went on a hoon with some friends following in a gti-6 and corrado 16v they could only just keep up although I admit I did know the road alot better

.My first car - 1.0 Corsa C. Slow as hell and sounded like an angry sewing machine when giving it some but it never once let me down. It tought me how to carry speed through corners and find the best way to throw the car round. The comical handling was actually not too bad and once you got to know how to drive it and where the limits were, it went like a little go kart. Even when ragging it you couldn't really go fast enough to break any laws and it without fail used to do nearly 450 miles to a tank with plenty of thrashes.
I'd have another Corsa in a heartbeat as a car to piss about in, just need a 1.8 without a bloody timing chain to rattle.
