Worst example of driving you have ever seen
Discussion
So what is the worst driving you have observed or indeed performed
I couldn't believe my eyes last week. I was driving on the motorway in the left hand lane. A brown ford fiesta was on the hard shoulder at standstill and indicating right. As I was approaching he suddenly edged into the lane
Luckily the middle lane was empty so I swerved around the fiesta, straight after this I looked in the rear-view mirror and so at least two other cars swerve around this idiot! I mean build some f
king speed up first!!

surely people don't drive the wrong way up roundabouts?! Yes, it's always exciting to meet someone coming the other way round a roundabout .... or down a sliproad!
My pet hate at the moment are drivers who consider themselves far too important to use the inside lane of a motorway - especially when they exit from the other lanes, cutting across traffic in the left lanes to reach their sliproad at the last possible instant. Naturally they use a similar technique when joining the motorway.

Person in a Fiat Doble van thing had no idea how to control a car. Was lane hogging the outside lane of a dual carriageway, impossoble to get past. Then proceeded to go into the entire wrong lane at the roundabout (was swerving beforehand and was in the middle of 2 lanes). Then drove down the next road quite slowly (way under speed limit) before hesitating on brakes and performing an emergency brake to pull into a ford dealership. All round bad driving.
My eyes have been opened since I started driving for a living.
I've had people follow me with no lights on (how they see their dials I have no idea??) I actually stopped the van once and flagged down the two women in the car to tell them to turn their lights on.
Also had to follow someone up a single lane slip road off a dual carriageway doing 25mph before. The particular section of road is pretty complicated as the slip road is joined by another road from the left and both become two lanes as it approaches a roundabout. Doing 25mph behind this car I was checking my mirrors as there are solid double lines for a period, I could see 2 cars coming from the left. First went by and at that the car in front of me pulled across forcing the second to slam on the anchors.
Then at the roundabout they crossed from the nearside lane towards the middle of the roundabout only to take the 1st exit.
Typing this I've just remembered that what alerted me to them was them indicating into a rather large layby (clearly marked) to start with then pulling straight back out.

This was so terrible it's stuck in my mind..
Driving through motorways in Belgium back in 2008 and noticed ahead of us some guy on Swiss number plates sitting their crummy car across two lanes. I wasn't sure what was going on at first, then started to think he was drunk because he'd then move into one lane.. then move across others and was basically just all over the road. I was in a (at the time) brand new Volkswagen Scirocco which had been loaned to me by VW's press office and obviously I was a little concerned about keeping the car in good condition and NOT getting involved in an accident.
I waited for a gap in his erratic driving to squeeze past and then he decided that he wanted to play keep up, so gained speed a little and kept up, I think even went past at one point all over the road. I then decided enough was enough and gave it the hammer for a few miles to put some distance past us.
On the surface it doesn't seem that scary but this guy was just all over the place and I was in an unfamiliar country with a car that wasn't mine and I just felt exceptionally uncomfortable!

Once saw what initially looked like a car driving itself on a motorway, only to find once closer, that the driver had their seat reclined, hands behind his head and was steering with his knees.
I saw something similar in Germany. We were on the Autobahn doing about 85 and this guy in a Golf passed us on a quite twisty bit of road with both hands out of the sunroof!!!!

Driving south bound on the M1, take J29 sliproad, and see an old boy(well over 80) driving straight at me.
Myself and a truck driver had to stop on the slip road, while the old guy turned round, called the police and gave the car reg and details, but they never returned any calls, so don't know if he was charged
