Worth Upgrading 3 Month Warranty to 2 Years with RAC?

Hello,
I'm looking at possibly purchasing a car I have found from a local dealer (once I get it completely checked over by a family friend!). This comes with a standard 3 month RAC warranty, which has the option to be upgraded to a 2 Year Warranty. I am unsure of the cost of this at the moment.
It's a Focus ST, has close to 100k miles (although most are motorway apparently, and as long as the engine etc is fine on inspection I'm not too fussed about this) and is a 53 Plate.
Any experiences or guidances on this?
