Hello all

Am I really sad for wanting these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SPARCO-Apparel-Casual-LO...

my boss caught me eyeing them up this lunch, now everyone in the office is calling me Hamilton!

oh dear. I am planning to do couple of track days, I promise not to where them in the pub.

You can get away with the more subtle 'Piloti' type shoes, those are too lary

Sad but they go with my car, it kind of has a blue theme going.

O.....kay laugh

I have worn simular Sparco shoes before and I wasn't that impressed, they felt a bit unfinished inside. These, on the other hand, are the best casual driving shoes I've ever owned:

...In my defense you need narrow shoes to drive a Caterham with size 11 feet and these are the least ridiculous ones I could find. they're hugely comfortable.

They're just normal trainers - rather than specialist racing boots - so I'd suggest they're no more or less sad than wearing trainers with a big Nike or Adidas logo on them

yeah that's true but there cheaper than most. they have protection for heel toeing. that's what kills my other shoes on the metal peddles. also they look much better than my knackered old shoes I use at the moment as there so worn out I cant walk in them properly.

they make me look like I have got rickets.

Oh yes! I managed to get someone in the US to purchase and post back... added the import duty it was silly, but so worth it.
