Scrap car/salvage prices
Discussion
Looking for opinions on what a fair scrap or salvage price is for a 1.8 zetec focus mk 1, 87k miles engines good, so are the electrics but most body panels have seen better days.
Live in Lancashire but the car is is Kent, going back there tomorrow for the day and could do with getting rid of it rather than driving it back, £100 is what i have been offerered, got offered £150 but not that close to where the car is near Maidstone,
prices up north seem to be higher though from what an ex colleague used to get for scrap cars, was expecting around £200 before I started ringing round Kent numbers .
Is £200 really too much?
Any recommendations of who to try?

Put it on ebay right away with a £250 buy it now, it will sell before you get to kent but put in the advert that it has to be collected tomorrow.
I sold my cat c scrapper with knackered engine in a right frickin state for £290 buy it now, it sold within 20 minutes and was collected within the hour.

I'm in Kent and looking for a cheap run around and could likely get it this evening, how bad is the damage? Any lights broken etc? send me a pm or reply on here if interested.
Needs to be Friday as I am up north ATM scratches to on of the headlights, not sure on other, needs new front bumbler and n/s indicator. Drove it from birmingham to Kent, still resembles a focusDeep indent to rear wing and boot, section of the rear bumper looks sand papered, shallow dent to drivers door and rear wing.
Small Dent on roof from a falling tree
Unless car body work is your hobby or you don't care how it looks this is not the car for you IMHO
Yhpm. If you are still interested.
