Free Sunday parking in London

I normally park around Bakerstreet on Sundays for free but i heard that they were scrapping that for weekend charges.
Then heard very breifly on LBC that they had decided against the weekend charge.


can anyone confirm is you can park in London on Sundays for free still ??

I just park on single yellows so long as there isn't a sign telling me otherwise.
