Just a little thank you to the man in the white van yesterday morning where the A11 splits from the A14 just before Cambridge.

Situation was, heavy traffic and three lanes. Two of which split off right for the A14 and the other remaining lane is intended for just A11 traffic to the left. Im in the A11 lane with Mr White van man in front and a Lorry to the right of him.

Mr Pr!K in his A7 comes flying up behind and thinks he can stay in the middle lane and make a 4th lane between the lorry and van right in front of me. More than enough room to pull in behind me and wait but ohhhh no!

Mr White Van man see's what is happening and ensures that Mr Pr!k has to wait his turn by staying in the over taking lane once the A11 single lane became two. MR A7 sits there flashing his lights and just made me laugh. I was really surprised the A7 didnt try and undertake, credit where credits due i guess smile

Really does strengthens the Top Gear branding that Audi drivers are tw@ts... btw im a BMW driver LOL

Rant over smile

That's not a rant. How the fk can it be a rant if it has smileys in it?

Where are the cynical and spiteful venomous insults?

Where is the profanity?

Where are all the rages?

0/10 Must do better.

So the WVM intentionally blocked other road users by unnecessarily driving in lane 2, with lane 1 empty? And you applaud this kind of moronic behaviour? I think that this says more about you than the Audi driver.

Too some of you i guess you had to be there.

Location between Newmarket and Cambridge.

My main gripe is i had about 300 yards behind me of available space yet Mr Audi decides that the 2-3 car lengths in front of me is just enough room (happens all the time i know). However he still wants to straddle both lanes and before the single lane splits in two he decides he is going to squeeze between the lorry and the van. Obviously this is very dangerous given the tight conditions so Mr White Van Man being aware of his surroundings simply protects him and others by making him wait (plus a little bit more waiting for good measure) until the road splits into two.
