Is this too cheap?

Just seen this, it seems too cheap to be legit, it only has 22,000 miles

What do you guys reckon?

Its an Astra

No matter what price they are asking for its too much for an Astra

They always look better in the pictures, is that damage on the lower front bumper.
Also the tow eye is missing its cover so maybe its had some mechanical problems

Indeed, it does seem cheap but then I wouldn't know much about the market value of bottom end Astras. That might be entirely reasonable? In any event, I wouldn't touch it for £3000, they are atrocious cars (if they're anything like the diesels of the same era).

The Astras of that age are terribly unreliable. Our fleet of diesel Astras at work always has cars missing, often because of mechanical defaults. In September I was driving one at night when the alternator failed and the car died. The recovery truck came and couldn't charge the battery for more than a 15 minute so I had to drive it to our workshops and leave it there. Then on my last shift I was driving along only to see the engine check light illuminated on the dashboard. They are very poor indeed.

My thoughts exactly, thanks for the heads up about the mechanical faults.

It seems to me there are rarely 'bargains' without a hidden past.

Even if it hasn't been clocked the 1.4 is awful.
