What about 4 spoke wheels?

We have a thread on 3 spokes, so what about 4 spokes? A lot of people seem to dismiss them saying they are all rotten, they seem to forget about the RS 4 spokes! Some of the nicest OEM wheels IMO


I also have these on my car from an ST24



So what others good (or bad) are there?

Okay, it may technically be 8 spokes on those wheels, but they're definitely grouped in such a way as to look like four. And I think they really suit the car

Some 4 spokes are at risk of looking like swastikas. This is probably not a good thing.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that an even number of spokes is fundamentally weaker than an odd number (I suppose because spokes on alloys work in both tension and compression)? Obviously that would get less relevant as you get more spokes, but it might be why there aren't all that many four-spoke wheels around.

But thats an RS2000!!!... the black one is great.. the blue one is just... well, there isnt much I wouldn't do to have one in my garage!!

Those cars looks great on 4 spokes.. infact, unless its doing autotesting or rallying I dont think there is a better wheel to put underneath those arches.
