I have an LPG system on my car. It has been working fine since I have had it, just sometimes a little hesitant when planting the throttle where it then clears out and is fine. But, in my wisdom I decided that I would break the vapouriser apart and clean it with brake cleaner. Before I did this, I closed the valves on the tank and ran it until it round out (to avoid gas going everywhere when taking it apart). Skip to actually taking it apart - It had lots of 'black stuff'inside which looked a bit like oil, which I cleaned off. I sprayed brake cleaner down the breather and filter and put it back on.
Now, I went and put 30 litres of gas in to test it. It just wont switch over to gas. It is fully up to temperature and until this point has never failed to switch over to gas. I tried to manually over ride and it beeped, as it would when going onto gas, but stayed on the red 'L.E.D' which means its running on petrol
I have a 80 lite tank in the boot and a multipoint system.
Any idea's what it could be? I'm mechanically minded and do everything to my cars myself but LPG is new to me.

I have no idea but I would ask on http://lpgforum.co.uk/ they were useful when I was running LPG.
