No idea, but the best I ever saw is in Scottsdale AZ.....a moving walkway, ( no rails) can take any size car, and runs through a set of hoops. Huge numbers of staff and a brilliant in and out clean for $21.........

Must be my eyes but some of the staff appear to be touching the back of that car in the 'touchless' car wash tongue out

We have one on Hull Roda here in York - On the A1079 headed out of York to the ringroad Hull side, here: http://g.co/maps/qg3xr

This is an old streetview, it has been updated! Unleaded @ £1.129/ltr - Was a while ago!

It is pretty amazing to be honest £7.50 for the full work, but alloy come up well (soaked in alloy cleaner whilst cueing!) and it gets off all the dead flies and is literally spot free!

There's one in Monmouth, just off the A40/A449. Only tried it once but it seemed very good

I've tried a couple that are 'brushless'. Basically a bunch of highpower waterjets. They get the top scum off, but the car is still dirty.
I'm not talking a minute level of 'detailers dirty' here - I'm talking - run your finger over the bodywork and it's black/grey - you can see a clean line where you ran your finger - type of dirty.

His car did look clean afterwards but it wasn't exactly commuter dirty to start with.

I live about 1 minute from the BP garage with that in York, never tried it but what I will say is if you put air in your tyres (50p and BP made how much last quarter?) while someone is in the car wash you will get wet, should have a warning like a sea world show.

a bit off topic but it's annoying enough BP charging for air and then positioning stuff in such a way that you will get wet. Got it off my chest at least, what I will say though is the chap using the car wash at the time was in a nice new jag xk so fair dos to him
