I once got 12 blokes in a Peugeot 405 Estate. Had a somewhat negative affect the acceleration, handling and ride quality. Didn't drive it on public roads mind.

As for the chap putting 11 people in an Audi - it doesn't surprise me one bit given the area (Belgrave in Leicester). The rules of the road just don't apply there. Used to drive through it quite often and the number of near misses I had due to people pulling out of side roads in front of me without looking was shocking. Saw a biker get very badly mashed on Melton Road as a direct result of such practices.

I can't see it being the record, if you get the boat back from Calais, you can have that amount hanging off your Exhaust, saying that the driver of the Audi most probably found his way over here in such a manner.

I remember driving along a quite remote road one day and seeing 7 or 8 people of Indian origin stood in a layby around a Toyota Carina. They do seem to love squeezing them all in.

Always remember as a kid we used to go on holidays to devon with our uncle plus family. Quite regularly fit 10 into my dads allegro estate, to go to the beach. That didnt include our collie dog either who used to sit with four kids in the boot.

Cant imagine it was too safe, but seemed like a great adventure at the age of six.......

As a kid, my dad used to take a bunch of us kids for swimming lessons at the local RAF base - think Citroen Safari and as many kids as you could cram into it!

You chop them in half,then you chop them in half again,then you slice them up very finely,then you mash them,then you scoop them up into plastic bags,you put some in the boot,some on the back seat and whats left over you put on the passenger seat.
