Track Day car..../
Discussion
Im looking at getting A CHEAP car to prep and use for track days, just fun more than anything, maybe a hill climb or 2...
Im motorsport engineer so ill do all my own work and prep, ideally looking for RWD, and remember the fun i had from my Mk1 MR2 many moons ago...
The mk2 go quite cheap too.
Anything thats either a hatch 3dr, does not have to have MOT or Tax, but not sure what to go for.
Something fun, doesnt have to be mega quick, but if its a heavier car then a 2.0 probably more suited.
Dont plan to use it til next season, just something to do in my spare time over the summer when im not out on my bike or at work.
So any suggestions would be appreciated :-)
Thanks in advance

I'm very happy with my e36 328.
A bit of power, a roof (so safer in a crash), rwd and a nicely balanaced, predictable chassis. Oh, and very cheap to buy and run. I do use it as an everyday car though, ideally you'd have something a bit more nimble especially for hill climbs...but for the same money as the e36 it'd be much less powerful.
