I have a 2004 BMW 5 series touring with 95000 miles on the clock, which I've owned for over a year now. Since I bought the car I've spent a fortune getting bits & bobs repaired on it. It's had new wheels all around, new brakes & disk pads all round, a new exhaust manifold & a new suspension arm. Just as I think everything is fine something else goes wrong & before I know it, its another £1000. However the car in running beautifully for the moment. Can't decide if I should sell it or keep it. If I got rid of it I would like to replace it with the Volvo xc90. Is there anyone who can give me advice please. I don't know much about the xc90. Are they're parts & service costs cheaper then a BMW? Are they reliable?

Well, I have had two motors like that.
I never learned from my first one, and the second one was bloody murder.
I fixed everything on the second one and it still crapped on me.

Get rid asap.
