My Vectrix electric bike has a straight cut planetary gearbox. It sounds like a TIE fighter and more than makes up for the lack of engine noise.

Well it was funny for a bit, but then around the 5 minute mark when she goes really quiet you can tell she's really not enjoying it and it became less funny. Prior to that I think she was just pumped on adrenaline, but then it got too much and it was good he stopped not long after.

Also, yes - funny how the voice sounds like the gearbox!

Finally, do you know what track that was?

PS - that driver is pretty cool, he's sat there like "yup, just another day at the office..."

The track was Daytona Speedway. The walls around the banking would have many people screaming I imagine.

Seen that one before and always wondered if everyone else thought they were on a warmup lap. He was weaving through them like a horny salmon.

Cor that driver makes some brave overtakes. But I am fairly sure around the 1:58 mark, he overtakes under waved yellows... not sure what the problem was, but usually that leads to a nice chat with the stewards after the race!
