just was made aware of this forgotten gem. Its a crying shame its no longer open for track days. Got me thinking do you have any near you that have been left disused and forgotten. Pics if you have them.





looks like it was a well used track in its time.

I'm sure there are still sprint events etc held there.

I remember watching the racing from the A8, just looking over the wall.

Track Scotland run a track day there a few times a year.

Crystal Palace, there is still a hillclimb type event held one weekend a year but its not really the same frown

brooklands not forgotten but missed!

first purpose built track in the uk if I remember right.

It's such a shame these tracks cant/won't be adapted for track days. Us petrol heads are always looking for good local low cost track days. In the current recession you would think the land owner would be looking to maximize revenue

My mum told me there's a track near me called Kames but iv never been able to find it.

Blandford Army camp had a circuit. I remember my granddad telling me about races he used to watch there.
