On my way home today i popped in to Prodrive just to have a look around. I ended up leaving with this !

Its kris Meekes Door for the WRC car signed

Im still unsure what I'm going to do with it, Might hang it on the wall or maybe sell it for charity.

If i hang it on the wall any one got any ideas what will make it look cool ?

Nothing could be less cool than a battered car door hanging on your living room wall.

Keep it, until Kris wins something in the Mini or until the Mini wins something.

Or if impatient whack it on ebay, no idea how much it would be worth though.

Cool lick

So there's a shop just selling randomly memorabilia?

Can I be cheeky and ask how much they were selling it for?

Yup they do, They had 4 or 5 subaru WRC race suits for sale and apart from the door part of the front bumper from the WRC MINI. Then they had things like tshirts and coats and so on.

Thanks for the PM.

Wow, seems pretty cool.

I'd definitely keep it if I were you. I know you were saying maybe selling it for charity, but I don't think its quite "mainstream" enough to get a decent amount for charity.

Better you keeping it and appreciating it for what it is.

OP all you need now is the rest of the car, how long will it take you to get it home?

I used to have the bonnet of a '79 TransAm in my living room as there wasn't anywhere else safe to put it.

It kind'a grew on me and was handy when having stuff delivered as I'd just tell them it was the house with the silver bird in the window.

I drove past Prodrive the other day, I didn't realise you could go in. I thought it was just a factory unit.

They have a heritage centre what costs a few quid to get in that goes to charity has 10+ cars in it and trophies. As well as a shop selling merchandise and memorabilia.
