Is it common knowledge what this styling feature is on a car? Does the car buying public care a hoot about it understand it or appreciate it?

If I mentioned "tornado line" in converstion would you nod wisely or just give me a strange look?

A quick Google reveals it to be Audi marketing guff for what normal people call "shoulder line" or "crease".
