Which windscreen washer fluid?
Discussion
I realise this must be a candidate for the most boring thread ever, but with the cold weather upon us and the 5-series seemingly obsessed by the level of fluid in the washer bottle my mind has turned to which washer fluid to select.
Last year I went with Halfords pre-mix which seemed to freeze at about -2. Does anyone have any other recommendations?

I've got some Halfraud's premium pre-mixed stuff (the pink one) that only goes down to -6deg. I only bought it because it was on offer and won't be buying it again.
I'm sure I've seen people on here recommend Lidl concentrated screen wash as it copes well with really cold temperatures.

never seen the stuff in the drum frozen yet, I use it at about 50:50 with water and it seems fine

I'm using the Autoglym stuff, doesn't damage the wax and hasn't frozen on me yet, smells alright too. It is a bit pricey but it dilutes well.

I can highly reccommed setting yourself up with DIY heated washer fluid.
Depends on setup under your bonnet, but on all my cars I've used some washer tubing wrapped tightly round a heater hose and sealed up to create a nice heat exchanger - gives steamy hot washer spray which is fab in winter.
