What Car / Freezer Combo? 8k or less

I'm starting a company making frozen desserts and want something a little bit funky to use for sales calls and smaller deliveries. I need about 100 liters of frozen storage so will probably take the back seats out to make room. I can afford up to 8 grand including the freezer conversion and getting the vehicle liveried, but spending less than that is good.

I've been looking thoughtfully at reliant scimitars and 1st Generation Saab 900's, IMO two of the coolest cars in existence. The biggest problems with old cars are going to be running costs and reliability, however I'm finding it hard to think of more sensible cars with the same degree of cool. Perhaps you've got some suggestions?

ETA: I'm looking for something I actually want to drive, something that provides a little 'this is why' moment when I need motivation to get up in the morning.

That S Cargo's awesome, quirky and rare which are definitely things I'm looking for. Might get one as our main delivery van.

The vehicross is a bit butch, not sure it'll go down well with our more hippy-esque customers. I also tried googling "those weird Japanese things" which was an educational experience, were you meaning the nissan juke or something else?

The 'lets see a picture of your classics' thread has been quite inspiring. I've started to have thoughts about ford capri's, probably not ideal from an image point of view but would certainly motivate me to make sales, just so I can go for a drive. Plus it's got the all important load space and if I lavish a bit of care on it then it should be quite reliable too.

You'll need a huge vehicle, probably a spaceship of some sort.

I have a customer doing pretty much this, and he's using Smart cars - I think there's a firm in Blackpool which fits them out with cooling etc.

Mazda Bongo, think its Mazda its jap anyway and you could get lots of frozen puddings stored in the back. Its also a camper van so how cool is that! Very, if you get it converted

There's been some interesting van ideas but it's not what I'm after at this stage. I need a car to do the sales rep bit, it really doesn't need the storage space of a van as regular deliveries will be handled by a different vehicle.

Guess it's my own fault for putting a thumbs up next to that S Cargo, I showed my business partner and we both think it's great but we won't be getting our own van straight away. The vehicle I'm looking for just now will be bought with my own money and will be driven almost exclusively be me, hence I'm looking for a car that I enjoy driving.

Nissan cube is not likely to be a car I enjoy driving.

Suggestions I've made are reliant scimitar, saab 900 and ford capri. The significance of these cars is that they are good looking, unusual and have a decent load area compared to an MX5 or similar car that I might otherwise have bought myself.

I've got a few weeks to make a decision so gonna enjoy window shopping for now

Scirocco Mk II GTI is better built than a Capri and has a far better load area.
The 4th gen Camaro Z28 also has a very useful freezer-shaped deep compartment behind the axle.

You could get a Mustang 5-Point-0 and have chimes that play "Ice Ice Baby"
