confused

Bloody hell, I figure that:

1. You went to get a new car

2. You broke down.

3. Something involving a made up word "tomsaybyes".

4. You are probably quite cold and miserable.

Is that the general gist?

What car was it??

To be fair, one of my enduring memories of last winter was pootling about in the snow in my Ford Focus, past scores of abandoned 4x4's, mostly vanity items like Range Rovers and X5's. My mates Pajero was unphased, my Focus was unstoppable. I suppose that's when a lot of people found out that their car wasn't actually meant for driving in difficult conditions, it just looked vaguely similar to something that used to be.

It could be worse though. You are at least in the comfortable surroundings of a Range Rover. Get comfy in that leather seat, put a warm coat on, get your head torch out and have a read or a kip whilst you wait for recovery.

It has stolen all of your full-stops and come to a full-stop because of this.

BTW - WTF is 'dranknsoft' and 'tomsaybyes'? And why were you picking up a 'can'?

Or is it like a cryptic crossword clue which we have to solve to find the story...?

"to say yes"

'M' and 'b' are near the space key, easy mistake on a smartphone. Same probably goes for dranknsoft/drank soft.

What have your superhuman snow driving skills got to do with a mechanical breakdown, are you also a superhuman mechanic who like mcgyver can fix a drivetrain problem with a band aid
